MIT launches Blockchain Systems Consortium: Scalable AI + Blockchain For Humanity

MIT is launching the Blockchain Systems Consortium in order to advance standards, host events, and provide grants to support research.     It is initially funded by the Blockchain & Cryptosystems Alliance (founded by  Endor and Hexa Group), but is open to all companies working in this field.   The MIT Trust Data research program, which includes IBM, NEC, Intuit, Mastercard, UBS, Accenture, EY, Metlife and TalkingData will be hosting the Consortium.    The new Blockchain Systems Consortium is spearheaded by Prof. Alex Pentland and Dr. Yaniv Altshuler (founder of Endor.com)
